Three mountains and five mountains are all over the land of China, or stretching for thousands of miles, or on the high plain basin, especially steep. Three mountains are the place of ancient Chinese legends, and five mountains are the place of prosperity of Chinese culture. Three mountains and five mountains are the cradle of the Chinese nation and the earliest place wher Chinese ancestors settled. They are of great significance to the development and research of the Chinese nation's history and culture.

Sanshan, there are three ways of saying:

(1) It refers to the three dragon veins in ancient Chinese myths and legends: the Himalayas (Pangu pioneered the heavens and the earth, and the Gonggong did not touch Zhoushan), the Kunlun Mountains (wher the Jade Emperor lived in Yujing Mountain, Chang'e flew to the moon), and the Tianshan Mountains (wher the West Queen Mother lived and Nuwa refined stones to fill the sky);

(2) There are three Immortal Mountains in Taoist legends: Penglai, Abbot mountain and Yingzhou.

(3) Three famous tourist mountains that people like today: Huangshan Mountain, Lushan Mountain and Yandang Mountain.
